Delete your Game Hero account

You can delete your Game Hero account at any time, from a browser or from the app. Deletion takes effect immediately.

On the web

  1. Go to app.gamehero.app/account/delete.
  2. Enter the email address you use with Game Hero. We’ll email you a six-digit code to confirm it’s yours.
  3. Review what will be deleted, type DELETE, and choose Delete my account.

In the app

Open Game Hero, go to More, then Delete account.

What’s deleted

  • Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
  • Your membership of every team, and your access to them.
  • Your sign-in sessions and the devices registered for notifications.
  • Any team you are the only manager of. You’ll see these listed before you confirm; to keep one, make someone else a manager first.

What’s kept, without your name

  • Past RSVPs and team chat messages stay with the team, shown as “Deleted member”, so the team’s schedule and conversations still make sense.
  • A record that team notifications were sent, with your address replaced by a one-way scramble.
  • Limited copies may remain temporarily in backups and security logs, or where the law requires us to keep them.
